DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY

The pioneering department of’ ‘APPLE’. It has contributed immensely to the growth & leadership position, which APPLE enjoys today. It is the most technically advanced & also the one getting highest number of Dr. referrals & patients. Department has all the highest and modern diagnostic gadgets: the 1.5 Tesla MRI, the CT SCAN, the various Ultrasound machines & Colour Doppler, 500mA X-Ray machine as well as digital CR system & the Mammography machine.
Apart from the most advanced equipments, APPLE has the expertise in a team of seven Radiologists, whose diagnostic acumen & reporting accuracy, is highly appreciated.

DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY

The Department has two wings: one for the non-invasive investigations like Computerized E.C.G., Colour Doppler Echocardiography, Stress test, Holter monitoring, portable colour doppler etc.

The second wing under the banner of ‘APPLE HEART INSTITUTE', the Hospital wing, has the most ultra modern cath lab, for cardiac catheterization, diagnostic & therapeutic intervention, & the highly equipped cardiac surgical unit where all kinds of cardiac surgeries are performed. APPLE HEART INSTITUTE has the expertise available in two Cardiologists, one resident Cardiac Surgeon, Cardiac Anesthetist, Perfusionist, & the supporting technical , medical and paramedical staff.

DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY

Pathology department uses some of the most hi-tech machines for serving the patients quickly and efficiently. Five pathologist and well-trained technical staff are taking care of the department. The department is certified by EQAP –The External Quality Assessment Program run by Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore. The ‘special care’ taken for Quality Assessment of laboratory results ensures the accuracy of reports.

NEUROLOGY: The department provides the facility of EEG, under the guidance of a
Neuropsychiatrist.

PULMUNOLOGY: The department conducts the pulmonary function test(PFT),under the guidance of Chest Physician.

CYTOGENETIC: The well-known CYTOGENETISIST, Dr.Hema Purandarey, visits APPLE, for Genetic Counseling.
