The Department of Cardiology at Apple Saraswati, is the first privately run Interventional Cardiology Centre from South-West Maharashtra. It also is the first Centre to introduce the first DIGITAL FLAT PANEL CATHLAB of the region. The department offers comprehensive range of Invasive & non-invasive Cardiology treatments. It has 20 Bed state-of-the-art Intensive Coronary Care Unit equipped with advanced equipments. It is the only Centre from the region to have 02 advanced Cathlabs under one roof.

The important gadgets in the Department includes – Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Intravascular Ultrasound(IVUS), Fractional Flow Reserve(FFR) & Rotablation. The ICCU is equipped with Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, ACT Machine, Arterial Blood Gas Analyser & each bed is equipped with Invasive & Non Invasive Multipara monitors(Philips), Advanced Invasive Ventilators, Syringe Pumps, Defibrillators & other life saving gadgets. Non-invasive cardiology section has ultramodern Dopplers, Holter monitoring system.
Team at Cardiology department Includes, 03 fulltime highly skilled & experienced Cardiologists, highly trained technical staff & trained Medical Officers. Round the clock availability of Interventional Cardiologists & technical & nursing staff facilitates emergency coronary interventions like Primary & Rescue Coronary Angioplasties.
Apart from all these elective procedures, emergency interventions like Primary Angioplasty in Myocardial Infarction (PAMI) & Rescue Angioplasty are routinely performed.
